School Profile

Harmony Elementary school is located in Hemet, California.  There are currently 860 students enrolled in Transitional Kindergarten-5th grade.  The ethnic makeup of the pupil population is 54.25% Hispanic, 12.15% African American, 25.94% White, 1.53% Filipino, 0.94% Asian, 0.59% other/Pacific Islander, and 4.6% that are two or more races.  Our pupils have a variety of life experiences.  Some pupils have recently arrived from foreign countries.  

Our school is a Title I school that has continued to achieve at high levels.  We have never been considered a Program Improvement school.  We have received the Title I academic Achievement Award.  This award is given to Title I schools that have demonstrated success in significantly closing the achievement gap and meeting their significant subgroup targets.  Our teams of teachers work very hard and are very proud of the students' success.
